Whisky Tour Leg One Complete!

Posted Mar 22, 2009 by The Wild Scotsman

If I owned a gym I might start a fitness class for on the road sales as I needed all of my energy. The week of sales in Chicago and Northern Illinois was a lot of work but well worth the effort. Late to bed and early to rise helps to put our brands into the consumers hand. Many thanks to Wine Knows for a wonderful event at Steven’s Steaks. Both John McDougall and I had a fantastic time.

After a 6 hour drive from Chicago we headed to Cleveland, OH to get our plane to New York City for meeting, private tasting, and an interview with our friend Mark Gillespie of The Whisky Cast. Stop by his site and listen to what is happening in the world of whisky.

We finished off our trip at St. Andrew’s Pub to have our final supper at the original location which is closing this April (no worries they have a new location). Many thanks for carrying the Wild Scotsman 15yr. I was proud to have the last dram from the bottle as that is all the patrons left me!

Here now in Dayton, OH looking foreword to our event Tuesday night at the Cork-N-Vineand then off to Columbus, OHIO.

Cheers from the road!
