6th Day at The Bladnoch Distillery
The mashing went well yesterday morning with John and Hugh. There was a bit of trouble with one of the belts breaking in the grain elevator, which made a good part of the distillery “White”. Huge had to put the grain in sacks and carry it up the traditional manner to the hopper at the top of the distillery. I had to cut out a wee bit early to make phone calls to current and potential suppliers. Being in Scotland is a great time to handle a bit of the necessary Whisky Office business. The calls and etc took the better part of the day.Â
Met Rudy, Andrea, and their massive Rotweiller mix dog yesterday while shooting photo’s in the garden. They are all here from Germany for the school starting today.  There are also two Bladnoch Forum members here as well, Karl and Margareth with whom I chatted with a wee bit.
The day is a bit wet but not really raining. In my opinion a perfect Scottish Morning.
Well, I need to be out doing things.
 Cheers,
JeffÂ
