Well, it is going to be one HOT event tonight with temperatures reaching over 100 F with the heat index today, however, it will not stop this Wild Scotsman from being at the Tournement Players Club Golf Course at River’s Bend. This course has been rated one of the top 10 best new private club’s in the United States and now it will have one of the best Scotch Whisky Selections in the United States.

Many thanks to everyone who attended the event with AVO, Montgomery Inn, Straus Tobacconist, and Wild Scotsman Whisky. Every cigar event this year at The Montgomery Innbenifits a different local charity.
AT 84 years young AVO was no slouch entertaining the crowd.
For those who bought cigars that night AVO signed their boxes.
AVO entertained everyone at the end with his music.

For those of you who did not attend the Party Source Cigar Night at the Beer Sellar in Bellevue, KY last night you missed a great event. This was my first time smoking EO Brands and having Eddie Ortega there to share his passion for his brand made that moment even better. I enjoyed his Red Banded 601 full bodied cigar and he got to try my Wild Scotsman Black Label Vatted Malt Scotch made to compliment my passion for cigars.

More than a wine tasting, it’s a SPECIAL ARTISANAL BEVERAGE EVENT to benefit WILL Illinois Public Media. Come to the Champaign Country Club Ballroom to taste dozens of International wines and enjoy some of the region’s finest craft beers and spirits, all in the company of knowledgeable industry representatives. Best of all, you can purchase any item by the bottle or by the case with special discounts the night of the tasting. Business casual required for tasting and dinner.
Immediately following the beverage tasting event, join us for an exclusive ITALIAN WINE DINNER at the Champaign Country Club. Special guest Daniel Parrott of Small Vineyards Imports and former sommelier at Windows on the World will present five estate-grown Italian wines with insights on pairing food and wine. Dinner which begins with a sparkling reception at 8:15pm is designed to showcase the featured Italian wines and is prepared by Champaign Country Club’s executive chef Doug Richter.
